Justice Tourism Foundation Volunteer Programs are designed to offer the opportunity to participants; individual travelers, work groups and teams, students, youth, and adults, a unique travel experience, – to engage in an authentic cultural immersion experiences with the local community members and support projects created and led by the community. Participants will have the opportunity to volunteer alongside the local community members on a range of volunteer programs – from teaching and working with children to medical missions, conservation, sports, entrepreneurship, women empowerment, microfinance, construction, community development and internship opportunities. We can also customize design a program for your group based on your interest, time frame, and number of participants that offer you an authentic learning experience in a variety of different program areas. At the same time we ensure that your experience brings positive benefits to local community development initiatives.
With more than 15 years of experience, we provide the safest and most affordable fully-hosted volunteer experiences. Programs start at just US$29 a day, including airport pickup, accommodation, meals, and 24/7 in-country support. Our flexible booking policy means you can make free changes and volunteer abroad with confidence.

Supporting Community Development

There’s urgent need of volunteers to boost the basic facilities and infrastructure for the people in poverty-stricken communities. Projects vary from constructing and repairing houses, schools, care and health centers, toilets, and clean water sources for deprived local people.
Microfinance Program
Supporting Women Startups

Help bring better healthcare to rural clinics and on mobile wound care outreach in Uganda. Duties are a mixture of hands-on, administrative and observational tasks.
Reforestation Program
Restoration of Forest Landscapes

Water, Sanitation & Hygiene
Provision of Clean Safe Water

Volunteer’s work involves manual labor such as digging the water wells, constructing of Spring Water Well, renovation of Boreholes and water wells and digging of trenches alongside skilled and unskilled local builders to help with the construction work.
Public Health Care Outreach

A medical project with a difference. This is a one week roving medical campaign, visiting rural communities and helping to provide malaria treatment and prevention, as well education around nutrition, sexual health and hygiene.
Rural Biodigesters Construction
Bio-energy to Rural Communities
3-5 hours volunteering per day

This project will be installing Dome Biogas Digesters outside of households in rural Communities in Uganda. These digesters convert the animal waste into biogas – a much cleaner, renewable fuel source.
